Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1 Veteran Mindfulness Australia Trade Promotion Prize Draws are conducted by BODY AND MIND ONLINE PTY LTD 78638127474 (‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’). The Trade Promotion Prize Draws are conducted as part of a Trade Promotion.
1.2 These Prize Draw Terms & Conditions apply to this Prize Draw.
1.3 Our General Terms & Conditions apply to these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions and definitions used in the General Terms & Conditions also apply to these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions.
1.4 For the purposes of these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:
1.4.1 “Commencement Date” 13th October 2023
1.4.2. “Closing Date” 30th January 2024
1.4.3. “Draw Date” the date after the Closing Date – 31st January 2024
1.4.4. “General Terms & Conditions” means the General Terms & Conditions for Trade Promotion Prize Draws conducted by us which are available on our website.
1.4.5. “Prize” means, for this Prize Draw, the following:
1) Total Value of Prizes: $60,000. Prize Includes:
a) 12 months’ rent/mortgage paid by Body and Mind Online Pty Ltd.
b) Limited to a maximum payment of $5,000 per month for 12 months.
c) The amount to be paid each month shall be determined by the participant’s:
i) Weekly rent or mortgage repayments; or
ii) Fortnightly rent or mortgage repayments; or
iii) Monthly rent or mortgage repayments.
d) Within 7 days of the Draw Date, the participant must provide to Body and Mind Online Pty Ltd:
i) A rent or mortgage repayment notice confirming the weekly/fortnightly/monthly rent or mortgage payable by the participant at that time. This must be in the form of a current rent agreement or current loan repayment notice, together with a bank statement or rental receipt confirming the current repayment amount; and
ii) The bank details confirming the account name and number into which payment is to be made.
e) On the first Tuesday of each month following the Draw Date, the participant must provide to Body & Mind Online Pty Ltd a rent or mortgage repayment notice confirming the weekly/fortnightly/monthly rent or mortgage payable by the participant at that time. This must be in the form of a current rent agreement or current loan repayment notice.
f) Payment shall be made within 5 business days of us receiving the documents and information listed at 1(d) and 1(e) above.
g) Should the documents and information requested at 1(d) and 1(e) above not be received by the required time, payment may be made within a reasonable time from when the documents and information are received.
h) Should the documents and information requested at 1(d) and 1(e) above not be received within 14 days of the required time, the payment may be forfeited.
2) The participant must be actively participating in the Veteran Mindfulness Australia Program at the time of the Draw Date, by completing regular sessions with their VMA practitioner.
1.4.6 “Prize Draw” means the prize draw being conducted from the Commencement Date until the Closing Date with the Prize being drawn on the Draw Date.
1.4.7. ”Prize Draw Terms & Conditions” means, for this Prize Draw, this document.
1.4.8. “Trade Promotion” means, the Prize for this Prize Draw.
1.5 These Prize Draw Terms & Conditions apply to all entries into the Prize Draw and we reserve the right to change the Prize Draw Terms & Conditions, and the General Terms & Conditions, at any time without notice subject to relevant state/territory legislation approval by posting such changes on our website https://veteranmindfulness.com.au/
1.6. The laws of the relevant state/territories in which the Prize Draw is conducted apply to these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions and the General Terms & Conditions.
1.7. By entering into the Prize Draw you agree to abide by these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions, the General Terms & Conditions and any amendments as posted to our website.
1.8. If any of these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions or the General Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the terms and conditions, which will continue in full force and effect.
2. Conditions of Entry
2.1. This Prize Draw will open at 12:01am AEST on the Commencement Date and close at 11:59pm AEST on the Closing Date.
2.2. A person wishing to enter the Prize Draw must be in the Veteran Mindfulness Australia Program during the promotion period (between the Commencement Date and the Closing Date). The program is free to join and there are no out of pocket costs for this Trade Promotion and the Veteran Mindfulness Australia Program.
3. Prize Draw and Transfer of prizes
3.1. The Prize Draw will be conducted at 5:00pm AEST on the Draw Date. The prize will be drawn at 32 Wright Place, Algester, 4115, QLD.
3.2. The winning participant whose details are provided when joining the Veteran Mindfulness Australia Program will be the person to whom any prizes will be transferred and that is deemed to have agreed to and accepted these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions and the General Terms & Conditions. Unless otherwise agreed between Body & Mind Online Pty Ltd and the winner, the Prize is unable to be transferred.
3.3. The winner will be contacted within 48 hours by email, phone and in writing until contact is made. An announcement about the winner will be published on our social media pages. The winner will also be published to our email list in the week following the Draw Date.
3.4. If the prize is unclaimed for longer than the period of 60 days from the Draw Date, we will conduct a redraw and a new winner will be announced 60 days after the initial Draw Date. Any prizes requiring a re-draw will be conducted and published on our social media page and published to our email list. Every effort will be made to contact the winner several times via email, phone calls and text. The redraw will be unlikely to occur but in the circumstance that it does – it will occur at 32 Wright Place, Algester, 4115 at 5pm AEST on 1st April 2024.
3.5. You must be over the age of 18 to enter this Trade promotion.
